A Dynamic Facility

THERAPEUTIC RECREATION PROGRAM
Somers Manor Nursing Home offers an ongoing Recreation Program, which is available seven days a week from 9 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The Recreation Department provides a full calendar of social events designed to fuel the mind, nurture the body and kindle the spirit.

The department employs certified Recreation and Music Therapists and trained activity leaders.

Our primary goals are:
  • To create an environment where residents continue to enjoy hobbies in which they were engaged prior to admission, and to stimulate an interest in diverse, new activities.

  • To provide unique, cutting edge programs designed to keep residents active, engaged and mentally stimulated.
